A dedicated economist, scholar, and transformative educator, Emesha Piumini Perera brings a proven track record of academic distinction, empirical research, and pedagogical mastery to her role as Founding Partner at the Savvy Institute of Learning and Research.
She holds an MA in Economics from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India, with Distinction, and a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Colombo, specializing in Banking and Finance. With over 10 years of experience in teaching Economics across premier international and national curricula, she has guided generations of learners to deep conceptual clarity and outstanding academic achievements.
She is currently reading for a PhD in Economics, focusing her research on addressing contemporary macroeconomic, educational, and socio-economic challenges. As an author and researcher, she is deeply committed to fostering evidence-based knowledge, critical thinking, compassionate education, and meaningful societal contributions.
